Overview
In partnership with MULAGO Hospital, Angel Wing Health Center, GULU Referral Hospital and Child Voice International, PWH will provide education and training to physicians and nurses on non-communicable diseases, medication administration, wound care education, infection control and emergency care. In addition, we will provide primary care services, consultation, and wound care clinic in Mbale and Manawfu in North East Uganda. Community wide education will occur with our colleagues in the rural areas. Project 10,000 will be provided for pregnant women and NICU training in Mulago Hospital and Gulu Hospital.
We will depart on or around January 1 to Kampala. Our first week will be in Kampala followed by onward travel to Gulu and Manawfu where we will begin our educational program and then return to Kampala prior to departure.
