"Supervising, supporting and working alongside other doctors in a referral hospital in Madagascar, making Christ known to those who seek care."
 

There aren't many surgeons in Madagascar, especially in more rural areas where people come from far away to a referral hospital for care. The main activities of this work are: supervise and support colleagues in the surgical department; working alongside midwives (as many of the surgical cases are obstetric problems that require caesarean sections or other interventions); train and supervise national surgeons; shape the use of protocols and update them as needed; In addition to conducting audits, team meetings and training, as needed.

All of this will be carried out within the context of a church planting and evangelism project.

Experience & Qualifications:

Required: Experience and post-graduation in the field of surgery.
