Promise for Haiti supports the Hospital Bienfaisance and system of clinics, health agents, cholera clinic and maternity house by providing resources and volunteers to provide health care and also teach Haitian physicians, nurses and staff.
We have two full-time air-conditioned operating rooms which have capabilities for telemedicine for teaching.  Various specialties currently participate in medical teams which come throughout the year.  Some specialties include general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, otolaryngology, & cardiology (pacemaker implants).  We are currently launching a primary care program to help see patients over the year for basic needs in the outlying villages and at the Hospital Bienfaisance.

We also support a robust dentistry program which treats patients in the community and all of our elementary students annually.

We welcome other specialties and opportunities for training including Nursing training.  Teams are encouraged to bring operating supplies and funding for overages on fuel needs and staffing needs during time spent in Pignon. If you have interest in serving at the hospital please contact us and give a description of your abilities or desire to serve.   You can email Lorri Beauchamp for more information.
