Overview

Manos Amigas Clinic

The Manos Amigas Clinic near La Entrada was founded 10 years ago by Serving at the Crossroads, a non-profit based out of Westchester, PA. They offer medical, dental, and ophthalmology services to those who would otherwise have no way to get medical care. Surgical teams travel from the US several times a year to operate in their surgical center. Summit in Honduras’ Health Guardian program works closely with the clinic and refers villagers to the clinic when they need treatment beyond what the health guardian can provide.

Medical Trips

In May of 2019 we took our 16th group of medical doctors, nurses, and EMT’s to Honduras. These trips have evolved over time and are now based out of the Manos Amigas Clinic. Our time is largely spent traveling to villages in the area administering much needed medical care and medicines. The teams consist of medical professionals and fire fighters. In addition, we are excited to have initiated a new partnership with the Colorado Mountain College nursing program, which will allow students to participate in future trips.
